Meliaceae : The Mahogany Family To date 3 species of this family have been collected in the Oapan, San Juan Tetelcingo, and Ameyaltepec area, each of a separate genus: Melia, Swietenia, and Trichilia. The former is introduced and found only in house gardens. The following members of this family have been documented in sources consulted on Guerrero flora: Cedrela oaxacensis, Cedrela salvadorensis, Swietenia humilis, Trichilia americana, and Trichilia palmeri.
