Capparaceae : The Caper Family

To three species of this family have been collected in the Oapan, San Juan Tetelcingo, and Ameyaltepec area. Two belong to the genus Capparis and one to the genus Cleome.

The following members of this family have been documented in sources consulted on Guerrero flora: Capparis angustifolia, Capparis asperifolia, Capparis incana, Capparis oxysepala, Chiococca alba, Cleome tenuis, Crataeva tapia, Forchhammeria macrocarpa, Forchhammeria watsoni, and Polanisia sp.
