With these users, you can specify which directory you want them to access (FTP or Telnet), which shell to use and set the Bounce/Reply-to email address. <br><br> Once a user is created, you are able to delete only that user. You will not be able to delete a user that you did not originally create. The delete function will allow you to delete these users. <br><br> <a name="fields"><hr><center><font size=1>[<a href="#overview"><b>Overview</b></a>] [<b>Fields</b>] [<a href="#notes"><b>Notes</b></a>] [<a href="#samples"><b>Samples</b></a>] [<a href="#errors"><b>Errors</b></a>]</font></center><hr> <b>Create User:</b> Input the new username you want to create and then you will need to click the radio button choice at the left of <i>Create User</i>. <br><br> <b>Delete User:</b> Delete the user you created, you can select from a user list which are created by you. The <i>Delete User</i> field won't appear if you have no users to delete. and you'll need to click the radio choice at the left of Delete User. <br><br> <b>Password:</b> (<i>Required</i>) This field is for setting the password for the user you are creating. <br><br> <b>Confirm:</b> (<i>Required</i>) This field is for confirming the password. <br><br> <b>Directory:</b> (<i>Required</i>) This field is for confirming the directory you want the user to access. The directory is relative to administrator's home directory. <br><br> <b>Shell:</b> (<i>Required</i>) This field is useful for <i>Telnet User</i> to delecting user's shell. When using /bin/rksh shell, the user can't go beyond the assgined directory. <br><br> <b>Bounce/Reply-to:</b> (<i>Optional</i>) This field is used to specify user's bounce/reply-to address. If empty or invalid email address, there will no bounce/reply-to address for this user. <br><br> <a name="notes"><hr><center><font size=1>[<a href="#overview"><b>Overview</b></a>] [<a href="#fields"><b>Fields</b></a>] [<b>Notes</b>] [<a href="#samples"><b>Samples</b></a>] [<a href="#errors"><b>Errors</b></a>]</font></center><hr> If a directory exists when creating a new user name, the user will be automatically placed into that directory when logging in through an FTP program. <br><br> To Telenet Users:<br> If a directory exists when creating a new user name, the user will be automatically placed into that directory when logging in through telnet. If this user use /bin/rksh as shell, then this user can go beyond the assigned directory and can't go beyond this directory (NO cd command for this user). Resubmit form with an alternate user name. <br><br> <b>Invalid password</b> - This error means the <i>Password</i> field was either left blank or contains invalid characters. Resubmit the form with an alternate password. <br><br> <b>Incorrect password</b> - This error means the <i>Password</i> and <i>Confirm</i> fields do not match. Resubmit the form. <br><br> <b>Duplicate user name</b> - This error means the user name already exists on the server. Resubmit the form using an alternate user name. <br><br> <b>Server cannot create user at this time</b> - This error means the server was not available to process the request. If the error persists, contact technical support. <br><br> <b>Server error</b> - This means a server side configuration is incorrect. Contact technical support to resolve the error. <br><br> <b>Email address invalid, no bounce address will be set</b> - User will be created, but no bounce address will be set.
